Communications Committee
The purpose of this committee will be to develop and maintain communication opportunities for the members of CCGLA and the public of Collin County. This could include, but would not be limited to:
- developing and maintaining the corporation's website and email communication systems,
- creating literature for publication and distribution at community events, through the mail and through the press,
- in conjunction with the fundraising committee, develop a brochure outlining the benefits of contributing to CCGLA, and
- in conjunction with the political action committee, develop literature for distribution relating to political issues affecting the members of CCGLA.

Community Service Committee
| This committee is a new effort designed for members interested in volunteering, and to contribute to all of Collin County. These endeavors will range from social to business; from youth mentoring to parent support and from regularly volunteering in the community to organizing one-time events. |

Political Committee
The purpose of this committee will be to develop strategies for enhancing the political agenda of the CCGLA, including, but not limited to:
- providing recommendations to the Board of Directors on actions relating to elections, referenda or propositions being considered by a city within Collin County, a school district or within Collin County;
- establishing communication with the major political parties within the county,
- reviewing state and federal legislation that impacts on the members of CCGLA, and provide recommendations to the board on activities to respond to these issues, and
- developing a directory of potential funding bodies which could contribute to the political agenda of CCGLA.

Social Committee
The purpose of this committee will be to provide opportunities for members of the CCGLA to gather socially, including linking with other groups within the area who share similar goals to the CCGLA for combined social events.
