CCGLA Pride Ride-Walk 2007

Saturday April 14th, 10:00am - 2:00pm

The Pride Ride-Walk 2007, sponsored by CCGLA to benefit the Samaritan Inn, the only emergency shelter in Collin County for the homeless.

Help raise funds for charity, enjoy a bike ride or walk in the park and a hot dog cook out with your family and friends.

Individual participants should obtain sponsorships totaling $30.00 or more. Family participants should obtain sponsorships totaling $75.00 or more.

Have your sponsors make checks payable to: "The Samaritan Inn" and include "CCGLA Pride Ride/Walk" in the memo section of the check. The Samaritan Inn is a 501(c)3 organization and donations are 100% tax deductible under the IRS regulations. Bring your donations for collection the day of the event.

Your entry commits you to a minimum Individual/Family donation. We are limited to 50 participants so please RSVP by completing the form below.

Bike Riders - 8 miles round trip. (View Trail Map)
Bring your bikes and meet at Jack Carter Park, 6500 Roundrock Trail in Plano. We will meet in the parking lot at 10:00AM. We will follow the Chisholm Trail south approximately 4 miles to Harrington Park. We will have a hot dog cook out at the Harrington Park Pavilion from 11:30am - 12:30pm. We will follow the Chisholm Trail north 4 miles to return to Jack Carter Park by 2:00PM.

Walkers - 2 to 4 miles round trip your choice.
Meet us at the Harrington Park Pavilion 401 W. 16th Street in Plano at 11:30am. We will have a hot dog cook out at the Harrington Park Pavilion from 11:30am - 12:30pm. We will follow the Chisholm trail north 1 to 2 miles then return to Harrington Park by 2:00PM.

CCGLA will provide Hot Dogs, Chips, Soda's, and Bottled Water for participants. There will be drinking fountains and bathrooms along the trails and at Jack Carter & Harrington Parks.
