Prepare a meal Prepare an entrée at home and serve at a local charity. Holiday Food Basket Drive Put together a one-stop Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Basket. Estimated cost $35. Help at a Community event City beautification, festivals, 5k Run, etc.. Board Position Board Member We are seeking individuals for the June 2005 elections. We need people who have an interest in making a difference for the GLBT community in Collin County. Communications Committee Graphic Design Design collateral, web site, newsletter and promotional product graphics. Newsletter Writer Write stories for the weekly email newsletter. Web Master Update the website. Political Committee City Leads Keep track of what is happening in your community that would be of interest to CCGLA and its members. Committee Member Help educate government/community leaders in the needs of the LGBT community, register voters, report on elected officials, participate in precinct meetings, etc. Social Committee Monthly Mixers Coordinate where each mixer is held. Special Events Plan and Coordinate fun events. A Resource Accountant CPA Lawyer Administrator Workshops Plan and coordinate workshops (e.g. parent, financial, legal documents, etc.) Speakers Plan and coordinate speakers for Community meetings.
